About RIB
RIB started as a group of mould makers, sculptors and special effects artists. When our co-founders, Ruth and Isaac, were asked to put those skills toward training healthcare staff, they took it. That decision became the company mission.
Who we are
The team has since folded in anatomists, architects and more, each arriving by a different route and for a different reason. People who solve problems together. Wherever we're from, the brief is the same: give practitioners the tools to learn how to save a life.
Why We Exist
We build models sculpted from structure to surface, finished with the same dignity as the patients they represent. That realism is what practitioners train against, so they can build the skills that save lives.
FAQ
Find answers to common questions.
How long does a project typically take?
We deliver most development projects in under a year. R42 and NOA were both designed and built within twelve months. Timeline scales with complexity: products built on existing architecture move faster than those engineered from scratch for production at scale.
Do you work with international institutions?
Yes. We have distribution partners across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, and a development history that spans academic institutions and government defence bodies. Lead times and compliance requirements are confirmed early, based on the partner and the territory.
Is our brief kept confidential?
Every brief is covered under a non-disclosure agreement as standard practice. We are equally prepared to operate under your organisation's own confidentiality terms where required.
Can we make changes after delivery?
Minor adjustments to fit and function are included within the first 30 days following delivery. Larger changes to the project scope are assessed and quoted separately, with full visibility into cost and timeline before any work begins.
